Position: Life and Financial Broker
Life & Financial Producer
Mac Donald Search Group has been asked by our insurance brokerage client to find a first-class Life & Financial Producer to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid / remote). The primary responsibility of this role will be to build, grow, and retain a profitable book of life, health, and financial insurance business while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:

Prospect, generate, and close new life, health, and financial insurance business

Build and manage your own book of business with a strong focus on retention and renewals

Recommend tailored coverage solutions based on each client’s needs and goals

Deliver a seamless, professional client experience from quote through policy placement

Identify cross-sell opportunities across the brokerage’s full product offering

You should have the following in your background to apply:

Valid LLQP license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Life & Health insurance sales

Proven sales performance, including at least $15,000 FYC in each of the past two years

Strong knowledge of life and financial products (life insurance, segregated funds, group benefits, retirement planning)

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong prospecting, closing, and relationship-building skills

Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and modern digital sales tools
