Job Responsibilities
Account Executive in our Sales Department:
Create territory and account plans to analyze and forecast spend patterns of assigned customers in order to evaluate the new license revenue needed to hit quota;Expand network of contacts within assigned accounts seeking to engage with senior leaders and executives;Generate new license revenue within assigned accounts by understanding current business problems, building knowledge of how RJR solutions are positively impacting the clientʼs business and ensuring the customer has a good understanding of RJRʼs value proposition;Increase spend rate/revenue per accountOccasional out of town travel with or without noticeAdjusts content of sales presentations by studying the customers’ historical sales or needsFocuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customersSubmits orders by referring to price lists and product literatureKeeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, three-month rolling sales forecasts (updated and submitted weekly) and monthly and annual territory analysesProducing and submitting written proposals and quotations in pursuit of business opportunities using:
Standard rates and pricing parameters as set forth by management; deviation from established rates requires management approvalMonitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and marketing techniquesRecommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developmentsResolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to managementPrepares customer’s personnel, contractors, and other trade factors with product knowledge and selling skills by conducting and/or participating in sales promotion and educational meetingsProvides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer salesHas good working knowledge of all company products and services that are available to our customersJob Requirements, Essential
Fluent bilingualism in French and English is requiredA diploma/certificate in post secondary education or equivalent experience;Able to adapt style to the situation and partiesMature approach – focuses on areas and clients that will yield the greatest return for RJR and deliver the greatest value for the clientWorks very independently and is highly self-motivatedHas the mental agility to handle multiple tasks and large accountsHas strong analytical, financial, conceptual and strategic thinking skillsBias for action, eliminating obstacles to secure an order whilst fully understanding client drivers and politicsAble to fully articulate, understand and deliver strategic product messagesLeverages internal processes, while understanding their challenges and limitationsHas a comprehensive understanding of the clientʼs decision making process and Procurement processMust be able to report reliable data by auditing the flow of data, developing check points and controlling credibility of company dataAble to create and maintain the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reportsIssues periodic statistical reports of a general and/or specialized natureDemonstrate the ability to properly forecast in achieving corporate financial goals aligned with corporate objectivesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills, which will enable the candidate to build positive relationships and work with all levels of staff and clientele;Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented;Strong professional image
