Position: Sales Manager - Commission on Group bookings

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive government group bookings. Your ability to build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and achieve sales goals will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Development: Identify and pursue new group sales opportunities through outbound calls, networking, and industry research.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate lasting relationships with clients through in‑person meetings, site tours, and exceptional service.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop tailored strategies to maximize group sales revenue, ensuring alignment with market demand and client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations, revenue management, and marketing teams to deliver seamless service for group events.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities and provide regular updates on performance to hotel leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in group sales within the hospitality or similar industry.
  • Must have current government contacts for groups.
  • Proven success in outbound sales and client relationship development.
