Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening in Ottawa Ontario for a bilingual Senior Sales Representative in our Materials business (Ready Mix Concrete and Aggregates). The sales territory includes the Ottawa area and Western Quebec.

Responsibilities
  • Own and actively manage a territory across Ottawa, ON and Western QC, spending time in the field with customers and prospects
  • Drive sales growth through face-to-face relationship building, job site visits, and practical, solution-based selling
  • Prospect and win new business within the ready mix and aggregates markets through consistent field activity and networking
  • Work closely with operations on the ground to ensure smooth delivery, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects moving
  • Stay visible in the market—tracking local activity, pricing, and competitors to sharpen your approach and win more work
Qualifications
  • Fully bilingual proficiency (spoken and written) in English and French
  • Strong commercial capability with a results‑focused, customer‑centric approach
  • Ability to build trust‑based relationships across diverse customer groups
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills

Work Environ ment
  • Role is based in Ottawa, ON
  • Regular travel throughout the Ottawa, ON area and Western Québec

  • Assurer la gestion et le développement actifs d’un territoire couvrant Ottawa (ON) et l’Ouest du QC, en étant régulièrement présent(e) sur le terrain auprès des clients et des prospects
  • Stimuler la croissance des ventes grâce à l’établissement de relations en personne, aux visites de chantiers et à une approche de vente pratique axée sur des solutions
  • Prospecter et développer de nouvelles opportunités d’affaires dans les marchés du béton prêt à l’emploi et des granulats, par une présence terrain soutenue et du réseautage
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d’opérations sur le terrain afin d’assurer une livraison fluide, résoudre rapidement les enjeux et maintenir l’avancement des projets
  • Maintenir une forte visibilité sur le marché — suivre l’activité locale, les prix et la concurrence afin d’ajuster son approche et remporter davantage de contrats
