As a Greenfield Account Executive at AWS Worldwide Public Sector, your mission is to increase adoption of cloud services among public sector organizations. You'll leverage your sales experience and technical understanding to build relationships while navigating complex procurement processes. This is a pivotal role requiring creativity and tenacity as you establish AWS's presence in new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and qualify new public sector accounts
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
• Meet quarterly revenue targets and maintain pipeline coverage
• Develop territory plans to maximize market engagement
• Conduct discovery calls to address technical challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in technology sales
• Experience in building complex business relationships
• Strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution
• Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
• Experience in navigating public sector procurement processes
