About the Opportunity:
Our client, a well-estabished industrial and contractor-focused distributor, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and expand key customer relationships in Kanata, ON.

The Account Manager will oversee the expansion of existing territory by visiting regions to meet the needs of potential consumers. Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset, and experience collaborating cross-departmentally are required. This position is best suited for someone with plumbing/HVAC sales experience and a deep understanding of account/territory management.
How You Contribute to Noble's Success:
-Strong understanding of market and industry trends in relation to global/local supply chain and new product innovations-Demonstrates a strong focus on prospecting and developing new accounts to build and grow territory-Provides professional, effective, and efficient solutions to customers-Provides quotations, technical support, literature, and other support/materials to customers-Participates in setting branch sales objectives and is accountable for achieving sales results (, gross margin, account targets)-Develops long-lasting relationships with key vendor partners-Able to balance pricing competitiveness and growth objectives-Pro-actively communicates with Management and Operations on all aspects of customer alliances to set appropriate expectations consistent with contract terms, and address any issues immediately-Provides feedback and recommendations on new products, services, and market conditions to customers, and branch management-Participates in trade shows, training, and associated product meetings (where appropriate)-Assists the Inside Sales Team with incoming calls and inquiries-Other job-related duties as required

What You'll Bring:
-Completion of College Diploma, University Degree or equivalent experience-Demonstrated interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills to effectively build positive relationships with team members and customers-Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within time constraints-Ability to thrive in a performance-focused and results-oriented environment-Strong business acumen and strong consultative selling skills-Proven negotiation skills-Exceptional communication skills, active listening, and presentation skills-Valid Ontario Driver's License with consistent access to a personal vehicle-Previous experience in sales and/or customer service is a strong asset-Bilingual is considered an asset-Technical Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge-Experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook is an asset
