Job Description

We are searching for the best talent for a Surgical Specialty Representative to be based in Ottawa/Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Major Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialized technical expertise in Wound Management, Hemostasis, and Energy solutions to customers
  • Call on existing and prospective customers; develop new accounts and grow existing accounts within an established geographic territory
  • Maintain in‑depth product expertise and support appropriate continuum of care within the categories of support
  • Provide case coverage within an account as aligned with regional manager
  • Support Account Specialists in new product launches, case coverage, and clinical evidence discussions
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and suggest improvements to product and company performance in the marketplace
  • Collaborate on creation of regional plan; own execution of aligned regional strategy supporting priority accounts and customers in Specialty area
  • Liaise between Marketing and regional strategy deployment; drive pull‑through of product‑level marketing strategy regionally with Account Specialists
  • Interact with sales and marketing management to contribute insights that refine product and marketing initiatives
  • Work with members of the regional sales team to over‑deliver performance goals and foster a collaborative, respectful, and enjoyable team environment
Profile Sought
  • Education and experience:

    Minimum a university degree in business, statistics, or health sciences; related clinical support/nursing and/or sales experience in the medical device field is a strong asset
  • Exceptional communicator:
    Builds relationships with customers and colleagues, engages in respectful dialogue, handles tough conversations, and listens actively
  • Leader:
    Works openly, respectfully, and engagingly with others; seeks help when needed and learns from mistakes
  • Analytical:

    May require evening and weekend commitments and occasional overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license required
Compensation
  • Generous compensation including competitive base salary, variable compensation plan, pension plan, health benefits, and vehicle benefits
  • Base pay range: $74,000 – $125,000
  • Additional benefits and eligibility to participate in the company’s sales incentive program
