Job Summary

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Account Manager responsible for territory sales, margin growth, and customer satisfaction for all customers within the assigned geography. The role will be based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Prospect, build, and maintain customer relationships; achieve or exceed sales objectives; serve as a technical sales consultant to customers in the assigned territory.
  • Drive territory sales and margin growth.
  • Retain and renew current maintenance agreements by improving customer satisfaction via the MFA program.
  • Manage and nurture account relationships to drive renewals and repair opportunities.
  • Conduct sales planners and needs assessments to inform account targeting efforts, including expansion within the existing installed base and renewal efforts.
  • Assist with customer concern resolution in collaboration with Operations, Service Project Manager, and Service Supervisor.
  • Partner with the branch business development sales team to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to improve solution sets and refine messages.
  • Use Otis sales tools to track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
  • Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales and/or account management experience.
  • Must have a vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with a strong desire to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage many simultaneous tasks and responsibilities.
  • Comfortable in a technical setting utilizing Microsoft‑based computer software.
  • Goal‑oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
