They provide expertise across Group Benefits (Health, Dental, Disability), Group Retirement & Pension Solutions, Commercial Insurance, Life Insurance, and Wealth Management. The company is known for professionalism, strong leadership, a high‑performance team‑oriented culture, delivering real value—not just products—and building long‑term relationships within the communities and industries served.

About the Role

Primary focus is a 60% relationship development/growth role and 40% service role. You will build, strengthen, serve, and grow a national group insurance program, working with an established book of business while actively developing new opportunities through relationship‑building, networking, client engagement, referrals, and program visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and strengthen relationships with national group clients and members.
  • Attend conferences, networking events, meetings, and industry functions.
  • Represent the organization professionally in client‑facing environments.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships and increase engagement.
  • Develop trust naturally through conversations, relationship‑building, and follow‑up.
  • Introduce additional solutions including Group Benefits, Group Retirement, Commercial Insurance, and support warm business development initiatives within the existing network.
  • Manage and support an existing portfolio of national group clients.
  • Deliver proactive, high‑touch client communication.
  • Support plan implementation, renewals, and ongoing service needs.
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint.
  • Maintain strong follow‑through and responsiveness with clients.
  • Contribute to the growth and refinement of a national program.
  • Support onboarding of new clients into the program.
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members across departments.
  • Maintain strong coordination and communication internally.
What You Absolutely Must Bring
  • True bilingual fluency (English & French); this role supports a French national program and fluency is mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both languages (spoken and written) and conduct meetings without translation tools.
  • Network and communicate confidently in both English and French environments.
Licensing & Industry Experience
  • Life License (LLQP) or Other Than Life (OTL / General Insurance License).
  • Experience in Group Benefits, Insurance, Financial Services, or Relationship‑Based Sales.
The Right Profile (This Matters More Than Experience)
  • Naturally outgoing and relationship‑oriented.
  • Comfortable attending conferences, networking events, and client functions.
  • A strong conversationalist who builds trust naturally.
  • Professional, personable, and confident in social environments.
  • Growth‑oriented while valuing client service.

  • Organized and detail‑focused to manage follow‑through.

  • Coachable, collaborative, and team‑oriented.
  • Ability to balance people interaction with administrative responsibilities.
Who This Role Is NOT For
  • Prefer highly administrative or behind‑the‑scenes work.
  • Avoid networking, relationship‑building, or client interaction.
  • Struggle initiating conversations or building rapport.
  • Only enjoy servicing existing business without pursuing growth opportunities.
  • Resist structure, coaching, or collaboration.
  • Struggle with follow‑through or accountability.
Growth & Opportunity
  • Become a recognized relationship leader within a national insurance program.
  • Expand into commercial insurance expertise.
  • Develop deeper business development and client relationship responsibilities.
