About the RolePrimary focus is a 60% relationship development/growth role and 40% service role. You will build, strengthen, serve, and grow a national group insurance program, working with an established book of business while actively developing new opportunities through relationship‑building, networking, client engagement, referrals, and program visibility.
Key Responsibilities- Build and strengthen relationships with national group clients and members.
- Attend conferences, networking events, meetings, and industry functions.
- Represent the organization professionally in client‑facing environments.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and increase engagement.
- Develop trust naturally through conversations, relationship‑building, and follow‑up.
- Introduce additional solutions including Group Benefits, Group Retirement, Commercial Insurance, and support warm business development initiatives within the existing network.
- Manage and support an existing portfolio of national group clients.
- Deliver proactive, high‑touch client communication.
- Support plan implementation, renewals, and ongoing service needs.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint.
- Maintain strong follow‑through and responsiveness with clients.
- Contribute to the growth and refinement of a national program.
- Support onboarding of new clients into the program.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members across departments.
- Maintain strong coordination and communication internally.
- True bilingual fluency (English & French); this role supports a French national program and fluency is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate professionally in both languages (spoken and written) and conduct meetings without translation tools.
- Network and communicate confidently in both English and French environments.
- Life License (LLQP) or Other Than Life (OTL / General Insurance License).
- Experience in Group Benefits, Insurance, Financial Services, or Relationship‑Based Sales.
- Naturally outgoing and relationship‑oriented.
- Comfortable attending conferences, networking events, and client functions.
- A strong conversationalist who builds trust naturally.
- Professional, personable, and confident in social environments.
- Growth‑oriented while valuing client service.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and identifying opportunities.
