Life & Financial Producer Mac

Donald Search Group has been asked by our insurance brokerage client to find a first‑class Life & Financial Producer to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid / remote).

The primary responsibility of this role will be to build, grow, and retain a profitable book of life, health, and financial insurance business while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

What you will do
  • Prospect, generate, and close new life, health, and financial insurance business.
  • Build and manage your own book of business with a strong focus on retention and renewals.
  • Recommend tailored coverage solutions based on each client’s needs and goals.
  • Deliver a seamless, professional client experience from quote through policy placement.
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities across the brokerages full product offering.
Requirements
  • Valid LLQP license with a minimum of 2 years experience in Life & Health insurance sales.
  • Proven sales performance, including at least $15,000 FYC in each of the past two years.
  • Strong knowledge of life and financial products (life insurance, segregated funds, group benefits, retirement planning).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong prospecting, closing, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and modern digital sales tools.
