This is a hybrid Sales Account Executive position based in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business through cold calling, in-person prospecting (cold walk-ins), networking, conducting discovery meetings, presenting CBS's services, negotiating agreements, and closing new client partnerships.
Responsibilities include handling follow-up communications, addressing objections, negotiating terms within established guidelines, and driving deals to successful closure. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, and meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
The Sales executive will contribute feedback on lead quality and sales processes to help refine the company’s overall growth strategy.
Qualifications- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, clarify needs, and maintain professional relationships with prospects and clients.
- Proven expertise in Closings and Deal Closure, with a track record of converting qualified leads into signed agreements in a consultative sales environment.
- Comfort working with CRM tools, sales pipelines, and basic reporting to track activity, forecast results, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably in marketing, digital services, or professional services, is strongly beneficial.
- Ability to work hybrid in Ottawa, ON, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to evolving sales strategies and targets.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections professionally.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Independent contractor, uncapped commission-based with significant earning potential. Top performers will have opportunities for increased responsibility and leadership as the company grows.
