Embark on a fulfilling journey as a Junior Geoscientist focused on hydrogeology and geochemistry. Join our Ontario team and engage in crucial fieldwork and data analysis to support water quality initiatives.
The Junior Geoscientist will be integral in supporting the Ontario Hydrogeology/Geochemistry Team with diverse technical work, including water quality assessments and geochemical characterization programs. Collaborate on field programs and promote sustainable practices in environmental science.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement safe work practices in fieldwork
• Assist in field investigations and sampling
• Support hydrogeologic and environmental assessments
• Organize and interpret large geochemical datasets
• Report findings accurately under senior instructions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in related fields
• Familiarity with statistical techniques for data analysis
• Strong initiative and decision-making capabilities
• Able to work outdoors in various conditions
• Valid G driver’s license is mandatory
