This role supports undergraduate laboratories and directly assists students and teaching assistants during lab operations. Your tasks involve maintaining equipment, providing pedagogical support, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. You will work mainly variable hours, including late afternoons and possible weekend shifts, depending on lab schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with testing and maintaining lab equipment
• Coach students and teaching assistants in lab operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Manage inventory of lab materials and equipment
• Help prepare laboratory manuals and documentation
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Biomechanics
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in educational lab settings
• Proficient in biomechanics lab tools and safety practices
• Skilled in technical support and user assistance
• Bilingual in French and English
