Join Equinox Gold as a Project Geologist and support exploration efforts in Ontario. Coordinate field activities and ensure safe, efficient drilling operations.
In this critical role, you will report to the Senior Geologist while overseeing exploration programs across the Company's Ontario assets. Your responsibilities will include supervising field crews, logging geological data, and maintaining safety compliance. We encourage applicants from Northwestern Ontario due to our rotational work model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise daily drilling operations
• Log lithology and mineralization accurately
• Support QA/QC for sample tracking
• Implement and adjust drill plans with Senior Geologist
• Compile geological data for reporting
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in geology
• Experience with core logging and drilling programs
• Proficiency in Leapfrog, ArcGIS or related tools
• Supervisory skills for field coordination
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
