Egis Junior Environmental Scientist Role

Join Egis as a Junior Environmental Scientist, contributing to sustainability and energy projects. Conduct environmental assessments and fieldwork with a focus on hydrogeological studies and soil sampling.

This permanent position is ideal for candidates with a degree in environmental science or related fields. You will bring 1-2 years of experience in environmental consulting, especially in Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and hydrogeological assessments. The role requires technical expertise in regulations and excellent report writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and Remediations

• Perform hydrogeological assessments, including infiltration and groundwater sampling

• Execute fieldwork for major infrastructure projects across Ontario

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental initiatives

• Report findings while ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• University or college education in environmental science or related field

• 1-2 years of environmental consulting experience

• Knowledge of Ontario regulations and CSA guidelines

• Valid driver's license and travel willingness

• Strong communication and documentation skills
