Senior Environmental Risk Assessor Position

This role within SLR's Risk Assessment team allows you to lead and contribute to complex projects that require regulatory expertise and a nuanced understanding of environmental data. Your work will involve preparing technical reports, developing proposals, and mentoring junior staff while making a tangible impact on sustainability initiatives across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive human health and ecological risk assessments
• Contribute to scoping, planning, and budgeting for projects
• Analyze site-specific environmental data for risk models
• Create and communicate detailed conceptual site models
• Provide technical support across various environmental disciplines
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in biology, toxicology, or similar field
• 5 to 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience
• Proficient in data management and analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Membership in a professional organization preferred
