Journeyman Electrician

Various Commercial Projects :
Maintenance Support Facility, Pre-fab of Mobile ICU Units.

Oversee required inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Standards Act.

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations.

• Journeymen may have to assist electrical apprentices on job related tasks.

Experience / Additional Skills :

• Minimum 3 years' experience as 309A Electrician / 5th Year Electrical Apprentice
• Install distribution equipment, Panels, Disconnects, switchboards.
• Install all types of lighting, Lighting controls
• Install all types of electrical devices
• Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits
• EMT / PVC Conduit Pipes (Bending & Installation)
• Rough-In :
  Fixtures, Boxes, Switches

Requirements :

• Licensed Electrician (309A) / Member of Ontario College Of Trades (If apprentice we will register you).
• Working At Heights
• Aerial Lift Platform
• WHMIS
• Worker Health and Safety Awareness

• Own Transportation

Tools / Equipment :

• Your own basic personal hand-tools. Safety boots;
  Hard hat, safety glasses and safety Vest
• Cordless Drill, Impact, and Sawsall
