Door Doctor is expanding its Montreal-area operations and is actively hiring experienced Commercial Door Installers to support a growing backlog of installation projects in Lachine and the surrounding region.

The Commercial Door Installer is responsible for installing, assembling, and commissioning dock and door systems at commercial and industrial customer sites. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on experience installing overhead doors, high-speed doors, rolling steel doors, dock equipment, and related mechanical systems who are comfortable working independently in the field while delivering high-quality, code-compliant installations.

• Install commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, truck restraints, shelters, seals, and related dock and door equipment

• Perform on-site mechanical and electrical assembly, alignment, and system testing

• Complete required job documentation accurately and submit paperwork in a timely manner

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, removing all debris and materials after installation

• Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipment, including daily inspections and cleaning

• Keep the service vehicle clean, organized, and presentable

• Follow all company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and quality standards

• Perform additional installation or support duties as required

• 2+ years of experience installing or servicing commercial door and dock equipment

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment

• Knowledge of commercial door systems, dock equipment, and safety protocols

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a field-based environment

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, or similar equipment

• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and installing heavy components

• Valid driver’s license in good standing

• Competitive hourly pay starting at $35 per hour, based on experience
