Siding Crew Chief

North Co is hiring a Siding Crew Chief to lead one of our exterior crews in the field. This is a full‑time role for someone who knows siding inside and out, leads with confidence, and takes pride in running a tight, safe, well‑organized jobsite.

You'd be the person setting the tone on‑site — keeping crews moving, quality high, and clients informed. We're looking for a siding pro who can still swing a hammer with the best of them, but who's ready to step up, lead a crew, and bring out the best in the people working alongside them.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead a siding crew on‑site, setting the pace, standard, and tone for the day
• Install exterior siding (James Hardie, vinyl, aluminum) with clean, professional results
• Handle soffit, fascia, and eaves trough installation with accuracy
• Perform metal bending, flashing, and capping work
• Follow and enforce safety procedures while working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and company equipment
• Communicate clearly with clients, Project Managers, and your crew
• Support and coach team members in the field, maintaining morale and productivity
• Keep worksites clean, organized, and protected throughout the project

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in residential siding installation
• 1‑2+ years leading or supporting a siding crew
• Strong experience installing soffit, fascia, and eaves trough
• Skilled in metal bending, flashing, and capping
• Valid Working at Heights certification
• Strong understanding of health and safety best practices
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Problem‑solving skills and adaptability on the job
• Growth mindset - open to feedback, learning, and continuous improvement
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Respectful of clients' homes and easy to work with

Nice to Have:

• Previous Crew Chief or Foreman experience
• Familiarity with window installation
• Carpentry or framing background
