Fibre Optic Splicing Foreperson Ontario

Location: Carp

Lead a skilled team in fibre optic splicing with Ledcor in Ontario. This position focuses on overseeing installations, testing, and maintaining top quality standards in OSP projects.

As an experienced Fibre Optic Splicing Foreperson, you will manage and mentor Fibre Optic Splicers and Technicians. You'll be responsible for planning and coordinating daily splicing activities while performing advanced testing and troubleshooting. The role also requires a strong understanding of telecommunications construction standards and effective communication with project partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise Fibre Optic Splicers on site

• Plan and coordinate splicing and testing activities

• Perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting tasks

• Review project drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Maintain project documentation and conduct quality inspections

Requirements:

• 5+ years of fibre optic splicing experience

• 2+ years in a supervisory role

• Strong understanding of OSP construction practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Valid provincial driver's license
