Cummins is seeking a skilled In-Shop 310T Diesel Technician in Ottawa.
This role offers a competitive salary, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for growth within a team-oriented environment.
As a Diesel Technician at Cummins, you will do diagnostics and complex repairs while performing preventative maintenance on engines. You'll be responsible for documentation and may support the coaching of junior technicians. Working hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty engines following procedures
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on engines
• Document work completed and maintain records accurately
• Support and coach junior technicians in the shop
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workspace
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal 310T certification is required
• Clean driver’s abstract and local driving permit
• Experience with diagnostic and electrical systems
• Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software
• Basic field service experience is advantageous
