$45.96 (plus $3.00 afternoon shift premium) per hour
SummaryThe 310T Truck & Coach Technician at Miller Waste Systems is responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles in compliance with safety, ministry, and company standards. This includes diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing road tests and service calls, and ensuring accurate maintenance records to support safe and reliable fleet operations.
Responsibilities- Must comply with company safety protocols and have a strong understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Maintain and repair all company vehicles in accordance with ministry and company standards.
- Repair and road‑test equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, and perform general shop maintenance tasks.
- Perform vehicle maintenance in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate and up‑to‑date files on all vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide on‑road support and perform service calls as necessary.
- Must hold and maintain a valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician’s Licence, along with any other required licenses.
- Valid 'G' Driver’s Licence.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently, with hands‑on experience in repairing and maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility and availability to work late when there are delays in the truck schedule.
- Occasional working holidays and weekends required.
