As a pivotal member of the training team, you'll report to the Lead Technical Instructor while designing curriculum that covers essential trade skills such as drywall finishing and window installation.
Your role will include engaging students through demonstrations and individualized action plans, ensuring they are equipped for careers in Ontario's skilled trades sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver hands-on training in skilled trades curriculum
• Facilitate student learning through various teaching methods
• Create comprehensive teaching materials and guides
• Maintain relationships with industry partners
• Oversee safe tool operation and use
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education related to skilled trades
• Over three years in construction or renovation
• Familiarity with construction tools and techniques
• Teaching or supervisory experience preferred
• Advanced communication skills to convey technical information
