Telecommunications Line Technician Position

Join our team as a Line Technician for a full-time, permanent position in Canada and the U.S. Ideal candidates have experience with Outside Plant construction and are ready for travel across the Atlantic provinces.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to working a minimum of 40 hours per week, including overtime or emergency call-outs. You will focus on operating specialized equipment and ensuring the successful installation and repair of telecommunication lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicle-mounted aerial equipment effectively

• Handle cable lashing and lineman tools proficiently

• Load/unload equipment and cables from trailers

• Complete construction tasks for copper and fibre installations

• Conduct necessary testing and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Line Technician experience in telecommunications

• Valid driver’s license, Class 3 preferred

• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and emergency work

• Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions

• Must pass a criminal record check
