Field Mechanic Apprentice

Position: Field Mechanic Apprentice Role
Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanic Apprentice to support essential equipment maintenance. This hands-on position blends shop work with field service, particularly in winter operations.
You will work closely with the Shop Supervisor, focusing on troubleshooting and overhauling machinery. A 421A Certification is a must, and having your own tools will set you up for success. Your understanding of various mechanical systems will be vital to your success in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the shop

• Conduct field service calls efficiently

• Overhaul and maintain aggregate and asphalt machinery

• Assist in on-call rotation for winter service support

• Utilize computers for diagnostics and reporting
Requirements:

• Must hold a valid 421A Certification

• Previous experience with paving and aggregates equipment

• Must have own tools available

• Clean driver’s abstract required

• Demonstrated effective communication skills
