Lead the troubleshooting and repair of installed security systems, including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, and resolving low voltage circuit issues with system testing. Ensure the programming of alarm, security, and access control system panels.
Organize and effectively apply technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
Complete and submit all required task‑related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
Serve as an on‑call and after‑hours resource as required to meet customer needs.
Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer requirements.
Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid CFAA Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with real alarm systems, covering various vendors such as Notifier, Chubb Edwards, Siemens, Mircom, Simplex.
- Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 25 lbs.
- Capability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high‑lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within indentations, crawlspaces, above ceilings, and similar environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
- Retain any licenses required by National, City and Local codes.
- Ability to work individually and in a group setting.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
- Bilingual French and English.
