Warranty Technician – Barrhaven

Location:

Barrhaven.

• Customer Experience & Communication: Engage with homeowners professionally to provide a positive service experience, clearly explain repair processes and timelines, and seek opportunities to exceed homeowner expectations during service visits.
• Warranty Repairs & Inspections: Assess, document, and complete warranty-related repairs promptly. Perform finishing carpentry, drywall repairs, insulation, and general construction fixes.
  • Interior: windows, doors, frames, baseboards, wood flooring, carpets, tiles, grout, cabinetry, drywall, and painting.
  • Exterior: roofing, decking, foundation walls, siding, brickwork, and waterproofing.
  Install bathroom accessories and conduct minor electrical and plumbing fixture repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after service visits.
• Operational Excellence: Use Newstar web software to track work orders and document daily notes. Report completed and outstanding warranty items to the Warranty Manager/Coordinator. Identify and escalate quality concerns or recurring workmanship issues.

• High School Diploma is an asset.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience; on-the-job training is essential.
• Computer skills are an asset.
• General knowledge of residential construction repairs.
• Robust communication skills (listening, verbal, and written).
• Independent worker.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Team player.
• Flexible to move to different projects and jobs.
• Attention to detail.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

$27–32 per hour.
