Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Painter/Labourer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves performing residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, utilizing various hand and power tools, and supporting carpentry and rigging tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed
• Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of finishes
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks
• Assist with rigging and setting up scaffolding or ladders for elevated work
• Support carpentry tasks related to restoration projects or construction sites
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times during project execution

• Prior experience in construction painting, restoration, or industrial painting is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and rigging procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings is a plus
• Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
• Basic carpentry skills are advantageous
• Experience with residential or commercial painting projects is desirable
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed
• A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
