310T Diesel Technician/Truck & Coach Mechanic – In-Shop

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

- Apply documented procedures and policies to perform diagnostics and complex repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engine.
- Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten or business system input screens.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Coach and develop technicians and/or apprentices and transfer knowledge and experience to others; may provide work direction; may review repair plans, parts lists, etc.
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Adhere to and ensure adherence of more junior technicians to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to their supervisor.
- Red seal 310T certification is required.
- Locally valid driving permit.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Good customer relation skills.
- Diagnostic, electrical, chassis, and heavy‑duty engine experience is an asset.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Basic field service experience.
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software (e.g., INSITE).
- Flexibility to attend service calls or support other locations as needed.
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with different software.
- Ability to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations when required.
- Regular working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; flexibility to work extra hours is required.
- Salary between $40–$46 hourly to start, depending on experience.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary by location and include a Company Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
