Public Works Handyman Operator Position

Working under the Public Works Sub Foreman, this role involves various maintenance tasks, including snow control and operating specialized vehicles. Candidates with a background in construction machinery operation and public service experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute winter road maintenance operations including snow plowing

• Operate sizable machinery like excavators and graders

• Conduct cemetery and environmental site work

• Perform minor repairs, e.g., electrical and mechanical

• Log daily work activities efficiently

Requirements:

• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent education

• Valid DZ Driver's license; AZ license is an asset

• Knowledge of municipal policy and safety standards

• Experience with construction equipment required

• Must be CPR, First Aid, and WHMIS certified
