* This is a permanent full-time position., Monday to Friday!
* Responsibilities
* * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance mechanical work.
* Inspect school purpose vehicles for operational issues, diagnose and repair deficiencies.
* Inspections, repairs and maintenance on school purpose mini-buses and mini-vans.
* Ability to diagnose and knowledge of diagnostic tools an asset.
* Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders.
* Prepare parts lists required to complete repairs.
* All related tasks.
* Required qualities
* * Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing and interact professionally with other team members.
* Have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
* Work without supervision, reliable, punctual, able to follow instructions
* Motivated, fast learning and dependable individual.
* Strong team player.
* Efficient, dynamic, and versatile.
* Work within tight timelines.
* Resourceful and independent.
* Requirements
* * Knowledge of diesel mechanics an asset.
* Valid
* 310T* License or
* 310S
* * Knowledge of hydraulic brakes.
* High school education or equivalent
* Valid “G” Drivers Licence
* Computer experience is an asset
* Basic set of hand tools; screw drivers, metric and SAE: wrenches & 3/8 & 1/2 socket set
