We are seeking new Ready Mix Operators for our Albion location. These individuals will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of a ready‑mix concrete truck. This role involves picking up and delivering ready‑mix concrete to various sites, including roadwork sites, quarries, construction sites, industrial sites, etc. The driver must interact courteously and professionally with coworkers, customers, and members of the general public while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities- Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
- Safely operate and securely park the ready‑mix concrete truck when not in use.
- Deliver and pick up ready‑mix concrete to various sites including roadwork sites, quarries, construction sites, etc.
- Accurately maintain and remit time records and required documentation.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch, supervisors, etc. to coordinate the safe movement of Cavanagh fleet vehicles movements on or around job sites.
- Support operations by following dispatch instructions and site‑specific safety requirements.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Valid Class AZ or DZ driver’s license.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant driving experience.
- Completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location.
- Ability to meet all Company and regulatory safety standards and policies.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members, dispatch, site personnel, and the general public.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs to handle truck extension chutes.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including extended hours, irregular shifts, nights, and variable break periods.
- Demonstrated ability to safely and responsibly operate a concrete mixer truck.
- Sound judgment and responsible decision‑making skills.
- Ability to read, write, and complete required documentation accurately.

The hourly rate for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
