In this unionized position, you will provide locating services for both residential and commercial clients. You must have at least two years of experience as a Utility Locator or Damage Prevention Technician. Key responsibilities include operating electronic locating devices and preparing reports on marked utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct utility locates as needed
• Research excavation locations and construction plans
• Operate receivers and transmitters for utility location
• Mark utility lines with spray paint or flags
• Prepare documentation verifying marked utilities
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years as a Utility Locator
• Valid G class driver’s license
• High school diploma required
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
