Position: Field Electrician for Solar and Energy Storage
Sungrow North America seeks a Field Electrician skilled in Solar and Energy Storage solutions based in Ottawa, ON. This hybrid role entails providing on-site support for installations and maintenance of photovoltaic inverters and BESS systems.

In this position, you will coordinate with field service teams to troubleshoot and ensure customer satisfaction through effective maintenance practices. Your expertise will allow for installations and pre-commissioning, while upholding the company's safety standards. This is a key role for those passionate about renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute installation and operation of solar and BESS systems

• Maintain compliance with safety and performance standards

• Lead preventive maintenance for solar installations

• Document troubleshooting and maintenance activities accurately

• Interact with customers to clarify technical project scopes

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in relevant technical field

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with solar inverters

• Solid problem-solving and communication skills

• Required OSHA and NFPA safety certifications

• Clean driving history and valid driver's license
