GDI HVAC Apprentice

Position: GDI Ainsworth HVAC Apprentice Role
Embark on your HVAC journey with GDI Ainsworth as an HVAC Apprentice. This role involves assisting in the maintenance and installation of HVAC/R systems and components.

As a registered Apprentice, you'll work alongside Journeyman technicians to service HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance. Your responsibilities will also include installing equipment and contributing to the training of new apprentices. Safety compliance and adherence to company standards are essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Journeyman technicians in HVAC system servicing

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment

• Install HVAC/R-related equipment and systems

• Conduct repairs on refrigeration units

• Follow company procedures and health policies

Requirements:

• Must be registered as an Apprentice - 1st to 5th year

• Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs and installations

• Excellent math and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to work solo and in a team

• Physically able to lift heavy tools and materials
