Take on a pivotal Avionics Technician role at CAE, focusing on the cutting-edge MQ-9B RPAS program. This position is based in Ottawa and is essential to aircrew training.
CAE is in search of an Avionics Technician to join our operations for the groundbreaking MQ-9B Sky Guardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems. You will play a key role in maintaining the Ground Control Station and Mission Trainer, ensuring operational excellence and safety for all users. This position is critical in supporting the training and readiness of military personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and repair RPAS ground control and simulator systems
• Document all maintenance activities accurately
• Replace faulty line replaceable units as needed
• Perform routine safety and operational inspections
• Collaborate with the team during maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Must hold an Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance Diploma
• 5 years of direct aircraft maintenance experience
• Valid aircraft maintenance certification required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Eligibility to obtain NATO security clearance
