Located in Ottawa, this position is perfect for individuals with 2 to 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction. You will work closely with Foremen and Operators to install underground pipes to exact specifications, ensuring quality and alignment. Proficiency in trenching and construction practices will be vital for maintaining safety and productivity on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install utility pipe according to technical specifications

• Prepare trenches with proper grading for pipe laying

• Use survey equipment to establish accurate pipe grade

• Direct operators during excavation and back filling

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• 2 to 5+ years of experience as a Pipelayer

• Strong understanding of pipe installation techniques

• Ability to read and interpret utility plans

• Experience with safety in construction environments

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
