As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be tasked with assembling, installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems according to strict regulations. With a 21-on/21-off rotation, you will need 2-5 years of experience and a high school diploma or trade certificate.
Your role is crucial in maintaining safety protocols, diagnosing issues, and mentoring apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and install electrical wiring and fixtures
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and codes
• Perform preventative maintenance and record keeping
• Train and mentor new employees and apprentices
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of electrical experience in mining
• High school diploma or trade certificate required
• Knowledge of PLC and Variable Frequency Drives
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to adhere to safety regulations and policies
