We're looking for an experienced, safety-focused Asbestos & Environmental Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well under pressure, and wants to build a long-term career with an industry leader.
What You’ll Do- Perform asbestos abatement in accordance with Ontario regulations and company procedures.
- Complete mould remediation and lead-safe work practices.
- Perform water damage mitigation, emergency response, demolition, and structural drying.
- Build containments and maintain negative air environments.
- Install and monitor drying equipment.
- Complete emergency board-ups and tarping when required.
- Document work using photos, moisture readings, and mobile technology.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, adjusters, and project managers.
- Ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to IICRC and Paul Davis standards.
- Previous asbestos abatement experience
- Knowledge of Ontario asbestos regulations
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in PPE including respirators
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation
- Ability to work overtime and after‑hours emergency calls
- Worker or Supervisor Asbestos Certification
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
- Trauma Scene or Biohazard experience
- Confined Space or Working at Heights certification
- First Aid / CPR
