HVAC Journeyman Technician Carrier

Position: HVAC Journeyman Technician with Carrier
Join Carrier as a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Technician, where you'll excel in inspecting and maintaining HVAC equipment while ensuring operations are compliant with regulations.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years as an HVAC journeyman. You will not only diagnose and repair systems but also install and calibrate equipment including thermostatic controls. Additionally, you will maintain safety while servicing refrigeration systems and compiling thorough maintenance records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and service HVAC and air-conditioning equipment

• Diagnose and address mechanical and electrical issues

• Install and calibrate new HVAC equipment efficiently

• Service refrigeration systems including ice machines and gas packs

• Maintain detailed compliance and safety documentation

Requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma

• Over 5 years of relevant HVAC experience

• Valid G2 Gas License/Certificate and HVAC 313A License

• Membership eligibility or good standing with the Union

• Capability to lift 50 lbs and operate at heights
