Road Service Technician

Position: Road Service Technician at Johnston Equipment
Make a difference at Johnston Equipment as a Road Service Technician. In this role, you'll leverage your mechanical expertise while ensuring operational integrity of our trucks through hands-on diagnosis and repair.

As a vital member of the team, you will directly impact customer productivity by maintaining internal combustion and diesel trucks. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and effectively communicate repair solutions to clients. A strong customer focus is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine operational integrity of trucks

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical parts

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance

• Document breakdowns accurately

• Communicate effectively with clients

Requirements:

• 3-5 years as a Mechanical Technician

• Truck and Coach 310T Certification required

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

• Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic instruments

• Valid driver’s license needed
