Join the military as an Electronic-Optronic Technician, specializing in the maintenance and repair of advanced fire control systems. Ideal candidates will work in various settings, including workshops and field operations.
This essential role entails ensuring the reliability of fire control systems through inspection, testing, and modification of various technical equipment. You will work closely with advanced electronic, electro-optic, and mechanical systems while also supporting operations for the Royal Canadian Navy and Air Force. Key Responsibilities:
• Test and identify faults in electromechanical systems
• Repair and maintain optical observation technology
• Drive and operate military-pattern vehicles
• Utilize and operate specialized tools and equipment
• Adjust and modify weapons control systems
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education with applied math and science courses
• College diploma advantageous for training progression
• Experience with military or engineering systems preferred
• Willingness to work in diverse environments
