Traffic Control Technician

Join ATS Traffic as a Traffic Control Technician in Ottawa and contribute to safe public movement.

This full-time position supports the Traffic Control Supervisor and directly impacts community safety during various events and construction projects. The ideal candidate thrives outdoors, possesses a valid Class G Driver’s License, and has exposure to the traffic control industry.

Experience with one-ton vehicles and safety gear is a plus for applicants seeking a reputable family-owned business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install traffic safety equipment for events and construction

• Create and manage work zones according to safety plans

• Setup and remove barricades, pylons, and signage

• Handle delivery and pick-up of rental equipment

• Conduct traffic flagging as required

Requirements:

• Valid Class G Driver’s License with clean record

• Approximately 1 year of traffic industry experience

• Experience with construction and hand tools

• Own transportation to work is necessary

• Prior Traffic Control ticket is an asset
