Heavy Equipment Technician at Wajax

Provide expert repairs and service as a Heavy Equipment Technician with Wajax. This role is focused on diagnosing, maintaining, and reconditioning equipment on-site or at customer locations.

Wajax is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to deliver top-notch service and workmanship. You will conduct inspections, perform repairs, and ensure equipment functions efficiently. Additionally, you must establish strong relationships with customers and manage service records effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment components

• Communicate service needs and obtain customer approvals

• Repair equipment both on-site and in the shop

• Recondition engine and hydraulic components

• Maintain service records and warranty information

Requirements:

• Trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal required

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience

• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Must complete all required Health & Safety training
