Antrim Western Star and Atlantic Equipment are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment / Truck Technician to join our team in Arnprior, Ontario. Atlantic Equipment is the authorized dealer for Liu Gong Construction Equipment, one of the fastest-growing heavy equipment manufacturers in the world, and we're building our presence throughout Eastern Ontario.
As our heavy equipment business continues to grow, you'll play a key role in supporting our Liu Gong customers. During this growth phase, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on Western Star and other commercial trucks, providing a diverse and rewarding workload while helping support both sides of our business. Whether your background is primarily in heavy equipment, commercial trucks, or both, we provide factory training, technical support, and ongoing professional development to help you become an expert on the Liu Gong product line.

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain
LiuGongheavy equipment. - Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on construction equipment.
- Assist with the diagnosis and repair of commercial trucks and vocational vehicles asrequiredwhile our heavy equipment business continues to grow.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, transmission, and drivetrain systems.
- Complete warranty and service documentation accurately.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with customers.
- Follow all manufacturer procedures and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to deliver exceptional customer support.
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with heavy equipment, commercial trucks, or both.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning.
