First Student Diesel Technician Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain school buses for optimal safety and reliability

• Diagnose and repair vehicle maintenance issues

• Carry out preventive and safety inspections

• Complete work orders in a timely manner

• Assist in mobile repairs as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of diesel or automotive experience

• Valid driver’s license; CDL Class B within 60 days

• Must have a complete mechanic’s tool set

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability

• Willingness to engage in ASE certification
