Journeyperson Plumber Water Treatment

Join North America Construction as a Plumber Journeyperson in Kemptville, ON, specializing in water and wastewater treatment projects. Your expertise in pipe systems will ensure safety and quality at every stage.

Under the guidance of the Mechanical Superintendent, you will handle installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of heavy construction practices and significant experience with various piping materials. You will be responsible for ensuring that work adheres to specifications and safety standards while contributing to the success of diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install PVC storm sewer piping and various plumbing systems

• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes as specified

• Inspect systems using gauges and testing methods

• Lay out full-scale drawings and plan installations

• Maintain and modify pipe systems following safety regulations

Requirements:

• Certified Plumber with 2+ years in heavy construction

• Pipe fitting skills for 2” to 20” pipes

• Experience with large bore PVC

• Valid safety certificates: WHMIS, EWP, and Fall Arrest

• Ability to work independently and reliably
