We're looking for an experienced, safety-focused
Asbestos & Environmental Technician who takes pride in
quality workmanship, works well under pressure, and wants to build a long-term career with an industry leader.
What You'll Do
As part of our Mitigation Services team, you will:
Perform asbestos abatement in accordance with Ontario regulations and company procedures.Complete mould remediation and lead-safe work practices.Perform water damage mitigation, emergency response, demolition, and structural drying.Build containments and maintain negative air environments.Install and monitor drying equipment.Complete emergency board-ups and tarping when required.Document work using photos, moisture readings, and mobile technology.Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, adjusters, and project managers.Ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to IICRC and Paul Davis standards.What We're Looking For
Required
Previous asbestos abatement experienceKnowledge of Ontario asbestos regulationsValid driver's licence with a clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 75 lbsStrong communication and customer service skillsComfortable working in PPE including respiratorsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotationAbility to work overtime and after-hours emergency callsPreferred
Worker or Supervisor Asbestos CertificationIICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)Trauma Scene or Biohazard experienceConfined Space or Working at Heights certificationFirst Aid / CPRDon't meet every qualification? We still encourage you to apply.
