We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians
for our Ottawa East
dealership located at 2716 Sheffield Rd., Ottawa, ON K1B 3V9. This is a full-time permanent position.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
- Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
- Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
- Document work performed.
- Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
- Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
- Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties may be assigned
- Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S)
- Good communication skills and work attitude
- Quality Driven
- SAP experience is an asset
- Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
- Criminal Record Check
- Driver's Abstract
- AZ/DZ License is an asset

CAD $26.00/Hr.
Maximum Pay Rate
CAD $48.00/Hr.
