Become an essential part of Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. as an Experienced Fire Alarm Technician in Ottawa, Ontario. This role is focused on the maintenance and repair of fire alarm and safety systems.
We look for candidates with CFAA completion and a minimum of five years' experience in fire safety systems. You will ensure system reliability, inspect fire extinguishers, and provide on-call emergency support. Proficient use of computers and programming knowledge is a plus. You will also need to show strong organizational and customer service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections on fire alarm systems
• Perform maintenance on emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
• Complete and document work orders promptly
• Be available for on-call emergency service
• Liaise with customers to address their needs
Requirements:
• CFAA required for this role
• At least 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems
• Desired programming knowledge and computer proficiency
• Strong customer service focus and organizational skills
• Willingness to work varying shifts
